Call for Papers
Workshop on Knowledge Discovery, Data Mining and Machine Learning (KDML-2013)
We invite submissions on all aspects of data mining, knowledge discovery and machine learning. Beside new work, we also invite preliminary results and resubmissions of articles published or disseminated at international conferences or journals no earlier than 2013.
Topics of interest include but not limited to:
- Methods of supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised learning
- Distributed data mining and ubiquitous knowledge discovery
- Data Stream Mining
- Temporal, Spatial & Spatiotemporal Data Mining
- Multiobjective learning
- Rule-based learning
- Network and graph mining
- Text Mining
- Web Mining
- Mining for recommendation engines
- Visual Analytics
- Data Mining in bioinformatics
- Data Mining for business applications
- Data mining in resource constrained environments
Submission:
We solicit
- papers (6-8 pages)
- short papers (4 pages): Position papers or Work in Progress
- demonstration papers (2 pages): Presentation of a system or a prototype
Submissions are welcome in English and German. They have to follow the conference format and should be submitted as PDF files to EasyChair (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lwa2013). Please select the track Knowledge Discovery, Data Mining and Machine Learning@LWA2013. All submissions will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
